For runout it’s necessary to resume on octoprint if the job is executed there.
I did this by frequently asking for the endstop status (M412 or M119 if I remember correctly) and searching the terminal for filemant (note the typo here ).
Unfortunately this caused stuttering even if asked for it every layer…
Hey, i tried to get a part of my old system started again.- This means my printserver octoprint.
I have a nice remote interface, notifications, spaghettidetective and a camera.
Unfortunately the printer makes no “runout-routine” if it is printing from octorpint.
Even no message through the terminal.- if i point out the status manually it is detected right (M119 or M412)
Maybe someone of the crowd knows:
Is there a way to let the pi listen to the runout sensor of the sm2 controller?

Runout detection works if you print from Luban over wifi and if you print from Touchscreen.
My last attempt was to call the endstop status every new layer in octoprint and search the terminal for runout or something but this ended in stuttering (even on a raspberry 5).
It needs a firmware change…
