Hi All can someone please explane the dwell setting as I am not familiar with this.
I am not sure wht this means.

@Pierre the dwell setting is how long the laser spend on each dot of the picture. For the most part you can keep it the same, but if you want a dimmer image then you do a shorter dwell speed, and to increase darkness increase number.

Hi Johnny,
If i want to make an image ‘lighter’ (not as burnt/dark) would you advise decreasing the dwell time or lowering the laser power% ?

Yes, you can do either, but I would suggest adjusting the power before dwell time. Dwell time is a lot harder to try and adjust to get the right brightness than adjusting the power. I hope that makes sense.
