This has happened to one of the extruders.
The part that holds the thermistor cable and the ceramic heater is destroyed. I have spare parts for the thermistor and ceramic cartridge, as well as the 0.4 nozzle that came with the machine, but this Hot End wire press strip (3) is missing.
Where can I get it? It’s not on the Snapmaker website, and I can’t find it to print either.
You can directly ask customer service how to handle it, and they will guide you.
You can submit a ticket at the same time in case the technical staff or fellow users in the forum don’t respond promptly.
Now, you can buy third party hot ends (with 0.2mm, 0.4mm, 0.6mm or 0.8mm nozzles) at Aliexpress, for example here.
I’ll answer this for myself and for anyone else who might face the same issue in the future.
1.- I didn’t notice it, but YES, there is a replacement part for this component in the spare parts box that comes with the printer. MY MISTAKE: I didn’t look carefully enough!!!
2.- In any case, the technical support team offers the option to purchase parts that aren’t listed on the website by requesting them directly through support.
