i suspected this was possible, but someone did it already.

    • Use Dual Extruder to autolevel on any surface - read the readme. Credit to @Mayco. Forum thread where this firmware was first published - Dual Extruder: bed leveling with nozzle i.s.o. proximity sensor.

This uses the little touchdown routine to compare the nozzles on the dual extruder to act as the touch probe for a calibration on glass.

This is neat.
