The quality of the current camera is not enough for my project. Possible to setup custom 4K Camera or Webcam?
Do you mean for doing the auto capture for the background or do you want a webcam for monitoring your print?
The included camera doesn’t show anything during a print, and if you want a camera to watch your print, I’d recommend just setting up an octopi (or! if you have a spare phone with a nice camera, octo4a so you can use the phone’s camera).
This is a link to what I use.
I want change current camera with a 4k camera.
I presume you mean the camera built in to the laser toolhead. I don’t know of anyone who has tried to do this, you would almost certainly need to modify the code in the Android touchscreen unit - as far as I know that code is not yet in the public domain, I’m pretty sure it should be according to the Android license.
Apart from that, I don’t know why you would need 4K, the camera is only used for positioning your design over the workpiece, the increased resolution would not help very much. The current implementation of background capture in Luban is pretty poor too (and broken in the current version of Luban), many people have given up using it until it has been fettled. Hopefully the upcoming 10W laser module will see a major improvement.
I just printed the camera stand (Tinkercad link) overnight using PETG, and it fits the A350 enclosure perfectly. Thanks for the link AKRaptor - great tip!
I also designed this so I can monitor the interface. Print two and just snap them in.
Awesome! It’s next on my print queue. Thanks so much for sharing.
