Good information. I see it’s in the online manual. My problem is that the Janka Hardness for wood does not have units. < 1000 or > 1000 what? LBf? KGf? N? It’s very different.
For example, White Poplar has a Janka Rating of 540 LBf, or 2,400N (from the referenced wood-database). If units are in LBf, the V Bit recommended settings would be 720mm/min. But if they mean N, it would only use 420mm/min.
My guess is that they mean LBf, but want to be sure before I turn it loose.
