CNC Milling software other than Luban

Hi, the Snapmaker Artisan is preforming brilliantly. I purchased this for home use and very pleased with all 3 functions.
I have many years experience in my workplace as a CNC programmer & operator using Galaad software to create drawings & Mach3 to control the machines.
I understand that Galaad is not wildly mentioned on the forums ( it does require a licence which may put users off but there is a free limited version available to try & would not use anything else, mainly because I know it like the back of my hand) but is it very user friendly.
Mach3 has also been my go to for many reasons. Everything useful is on hand in one screen display and handles the option to edit codes very well.
I would be very interested to know if anyone has had any success combining Mach3 with Snapmaker.
I look forward to any help and discussion :+1:

I’ve only used Fusion 360’s Snapmaker CNC plugin. It has a steep learning curve.

Thank you, I am familiar with Fusion 360 (it is not great for beginners). Please let me know if you need further help with any projects. I will always go back to Galaad to form any ideas and Mach3 software has produced wonders

Huh, seems that Galaad can do 4-axis for an affordable price - did you try 4-axis milling with it?

Only ever done 3 axis. Been using Galaad for 12 years plus. Does everything I want it to do ( bespoke cases and foam inserts ) . I can mill whilst all 3 axis are travelling at the same time and it solves a lot of tricky jobs
