While I have Fusion 360 I tend to use Vectric’s Aspire (http://www.vectric.com/products/aspire.html) when I am CNC carving, laser engraving, or CNC milling on my larger systems. Has anyone created a post processor file which will run with Aspire?
Yesterday evening, after taking a crack at creating my own post processor file for Aspire to support the SnapMaker, I wrote to Vectric Support (support@vertric.com) and asked what was required to have a new post processor file created. This morning Vectric Support responded that “If you would like to let us know the name of the controller software that will drive the CNC machine, and send us a copy of the GCode Reference manual for the machine as well as 2 samples of GCode that are confirmed to cut correctly on the machine, we can then investigate the options for Post Processor.”
As far as the controller software I was thinking of controlling the SnapMaker directly from Aspire or from Snapmakerjs.
Is there a "GCode Reference manual for the SnapMaker CNC machine?
