Cheap knockoff or scam?

Experlo Technologies | Industrial Grade Modular Multifunctional 3D Pri spotted this earlier, seems identical for a 10th the price.

This is a scam. The images they have are directly taken from snapmaker marketing materials, they didn’t even bother to photoshop out the snapmaker branding.

At least it comes with ā€œwaterboardsā€. Can’t get those from SM.

I’m particularly a fan of the ā€œlaser glovesā€ lol.

I also have a CNC craving.

I notice that they used an image to show their mailing address so it wouldn’t be easy to copy and paste it. That’s probably because if you did, you’d find out that it was the address of a 501(c)3 charity called ā€œA Titus Manā€.

Maybe that charity also has a CNC craving?

I kinda like their ToS page, particularly sections 3 and 20.

Same shopping center but different suite # than Titus Man.
Think it’s a mailbox in the Kroger.

I must be real. I mean why put a scam device on sale? I’d charge full freight!

Too bad you can’t spike them like that Russian genius in the James Bond film. Wouldn’t that be nice to send a software rocket right up their… IP address?

There is an old adage…

If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Even at 1/2 the Snapmaker price, the above is all too true.

I just found out.
This is a pre-release offer.
It will be shipping on 1 Apr 2023.

No it won’t…

Was that the sound of an April fool joke whooshing by? I am actually more surprised that SM haven’t made them take the advert down after almost 2 weeks, clearly it must be breaking all sorts of copyright.

While the original advert has now been removed the same company are offering a bogus enclosure, rotary unit and those laser gloves Auto Cylindrical Rotator & Shield Encloser + Free 2 X Laser Gloves – Experlo Technologies

Scam. They got me, and I got a roll of fishing wire or something alike.
They smart enough to cut the left part of an address sticker, so it is hardy possible to track back the sender. And finally - they put a fake phone number instead of mine, so postal service had no chance to notify me as usual (our laws permit rejecting a package so it is being returned to the sender).

100% Scam! I received a roll of ribbon.
