Change controller fan: from 30mm to 40mm

Hi all!
I’ve bought a very silent Noctua NF-A4X10 FLX (40mm x 10mm) fan.
I’m thinking to remove the stock 30mm controller fan and use this new 40mm…
The Nocutua needs 12v DC so I’m thinking to use just one cheap step down circuit (from 24v to 12v).

I’ve opened the controller and I think there is no room on the inside so I’ll cut a hole and just fix the 40mm fan on the outside. Maybe I can print some cover…

What do you think!? The 30mm fan seems that move that air much faster than the 40mm… Would be fine to do this upgrade?
Is there the stl file if the original controller box?
