Related to this thread — I built a browser tool called Spectrum Forge that takes any image and exports a watertight 3MF with per-pixel color encoding for the U1.

Two modes:

  • Toolchanger Painted — assigns tool slots per color region, built for the U1’s 4-tool architecture
  • Traditional Height — classic layer-swap for single-extruder setups

No install, runs in the browser. Drop an image, pick your filaments, export 3MF, open in Orca.

Also built U1 Forge which converts any Bambu/Prusa/MakerWorld .3mf to work on the U1 — remaps tool slots automatically.
