I understand it can’t carve or cut metal. But what I’m looking to do is engrave powder coated stainless steel plates. Would it be able to do that without flashbacks or anything like that?
I assume you’re talking about laser etching rather than CNC carving.
@gjo had good luck etching water bottles. It should work for most consumer level powder coatings, as long as they’re not too reflective.
