the following infills, are bad design, imnsho. I do do not know why they are still available, there are plenty of alternatives. When the filament paths cross, the head is on the same layer, Depending on the filament type, nozzle size, size of infiill, then you can get head collisions.

lol. This is news from 2010. Its not that they are “bad design” they are just not applicable or usable for a lot of things…. I also dont agree at all with this other than grid. All the rest i have used. Please dont just come online and make statements like you are some bible. The fact you dont have lightning on there, the most useless infill ever… Do some research, these arnt going away. You just arnt using them correctly. If you spend a little time doing proper manual flow calibration, you can get away with the small overlap. You can also make some tweaks to the infil profile. If you are just taking the stock profile and printing, you are gonna fail a lot. Its not tuned well at all. Its support settings are based on an ender3 moving 50mms… lol
