In the software you must select what color the infill will be. In most situations I would assume this wouldn’t cause an issue. My example is they infill is set to my main color of the print but the first 155 layers of my 2900 layer print are gray but the infill is blue so there’s an unneeded tool change for at-least those layers. When you’re printing something that is close to the build volume in all directions, that time add up. Currently this one is set to take 36 hours. I timed it and the tool change to do the infill on the first 150 was around 4 seconds getting and putting it back. I’m Always trying to streamline my workflow.
Is this about Snapmaker Orca?
Yes, the orca slicer only allows 1 color for infill to my knowledge. You select it in the multimaterial tab.
