Hello. I have my Snapmaker 2.0 350T printer with the quick change kit (quick wap). I have it configured like this in Luban. When adding a new laser project in Luban it tells me that the maximum measurements are 350mm high by 320mm wide. The problem is that the height is not correct, when I put a piece of wood 350mm high, when it reaches 335mm high I finished, leaving the design badly cut. Any idea why this happens? Am I doing something wrong? or does Luban have a bug in the default configuration?
The quick swap kit reduces the build volume - according to the shop page down to 320 x 335 x 315 mm. So your 335 mm are consistent with that. You may be able to cheat a few more mm out of the machine - read this thread about how to change the work coordinates.
Have you only changed the settings in Luban? You need to change the settings on the touch screen on the machine also.
I have changed the settings on the machine and in Luban. What happens is that when creating a new laser document in Luban it says 350x332mm, and I understand that it should say 335x320mm. So I don’t know if it’s a bug in Luban or if I should do something?
As far I’m concerned, a Luban bug. Software should compensate and let you know when you are outside the build parameters. See Strange printing as Y axis approaches its max limit - #2 by xchrisd. Snapmaker is aware of the problem. I don’t know if they will address it or not.
