I have the A350 enclosure with filament storage above the enclosure. I am planning to put filament ports (I have a dual extruder) through the top using a PTFE port. Vertically, they will be aligned with filament port on the print head. My question is on best location horizontally for the ports, over the home location or centered on the x axis? I am thinking over the home position, but I’d like to hear recommendations and why from others.
I use the existing hole in the side of the enclosure with some Bowden tubes to make the turn… The tubes go all the way to the multi-port adapter and a little bit beyond to prevent hard kinks in the filament as the tool head is moving…

I put multiple tubes for mine in the center, since that’s where you print the most.
I put my top holes a few cm in front of the print head to avoid collision with the toolhead cable and filaments.
I put a slot across the top and have the filament spool holder in the middle.
(I’ve also replaced the top with MDF, coated white on the inside so I didn’t wreck the original acrylic)
The rubber strip is some P shape draught excluder that blocks the hole when I’m doing CNC to keep the dust inside (along with some other sealing work)
