Hi I have an Artisan with the 40w laser, I am a little confused over the platform height calibration process, the image shows a white block. Is there meant to be a standardized tool used to calibrate or do you calibrate it to the height of the work material.
I would expect like a 3d printer you calibrate to a standard height and the material thickness setting adjusted the offset from there however this is not clear.
Hi, there shall be a White calibration Block in your package. This is for calibration of the height detection. Later on the 40w will detect the height and will run near to it, so you just have to finetune the height (in Auto mode, on Manual you have to set the height in mm).

Yea I don’t seem to have had it.
I also don’t see it on any of the included parts in the manual.
I can see on the screen it shows a calibration block but I don’t have it.
Can anyone give me some ideas of its size.

I don’t believe there is cam on this so its just a 10mm spacer
