2W laser update and no function the next day?

I received my 2W infrared laser on 14.08.2024.
After installation, I had the problem that the laser fan was making noise, so I contacted support, who told me to update the software with the module connected, as described in the WIKI. No sooner said than done. The fan stopped whirring and when I wanted to laser something the next day, the laser stopped working.
Software is 1.20.3 and Luban 4.13.1 but I have already tried everything Software updated without connected laser with connected laser but the laser does not work anymore only the fan runs

Has anyone already had this and possibly a solution

Did you interchange your toolheads in the meantime? (This helped a user recently so it would be worth to try)
Maybe a machine reset?
Enclosure door status correct detected?

How do I perform a machine reset? Can anyone give me detailed instructions?

Thank you

Unfortunately, the machine reset did not help either. The door sensors both work because the machine stops and I can only continue lasering after closing the doors.
Many thanks anyway.

Anyone else have any ideas?

Hello, @Blauskink. If youā€™re using the split toolhead-cable, is it possible that you have the toolhead/addon splitter cable connections mixed-up? When I had that issue, I closely checked those labeled connectors and found that I had the toolhead connector in the addon port and the addon connector in the toolhead port. Swapping the connections on the split cable end to their proper positions as labeled resolved both issues I had (laser not functioning and the camera wasnā€™t being recognized).

Hello Snapmaker friends,
I have now found out that when lasering with the 2W Laser Snapmaker A350T the laser in the Y-axis always lasers below the coordinates.
That means I take the standard text Snapmaker (Snapmaker)put in at the coordinates workpiece bottom right and set the text on the X and Y axis to 0 when I have then created the G-code and have done the height leveling, the laser in the Y-axis always starts pretty much exactly at Y-axis -10 so below the font.
Is there a way to set the axes to 0 again?

Check the crosshair offset. Open settings > 2W Laser Settings > Cross Line Indicator Offset.

Hi! What did you do to get the 2W laser working again?
Thanks

I opened a tiket and yesterday I got a new laser that works now, but I havenā€™t done the update with the fan yet because I first wanted to see if it was the fan updateā€¦but it was definitely defective !!!
The new one works now !!!

Hi again, my 2W IR laser got exchanged and the new one didnā€™t work too. the ā€œdefectiveā€ one turned out to be working perfectly at Snapmaker. I had to downgrade the Artisan firmware to version 2.7.2 and disable the WIFI to get it working again. Iā€™m still in touch with SM support to figure out where the problem is ā€¦ If I get news, I will reply again!
