Is the new 2.0 touchscreen compatible with the 1.0 machine?

I would suggest not; the SM2 is quite different

It might be that the 2.0 controller + the Touch Screen would work.I believe they mentioned the need for adapters to work with the 1.0 linear modules.

Thanks, Tone, might be worth looking into.

It attaches via USB C and runs a different software so I wouldn’t think so without some major hacking.
