Depends on your basswod 
But normally it will. I cutted dozen m² of 1,5mm basswood.
Close the enclosure door. Otherwise it will reduce power output.

What Wyphorn says, plus: Check your lens protector - it may be dirty.
I have no snapmaker enclosure.
I saw someone posted that lense to object should be around 10mm. I manually set that dimension and it cuts fine.

The focus must be a little sharp point at little power. If that is OK? Lower the Z 0,75mm and he is perfect for 1,5mm basswood.
