Hi everyone. I’ve been using the 10w laser for a while off and on and I’ve started to run into a new problem. While traversing between cuts the laser stays running leaving a line in the workpiece.
Does anyone know what might be causing it and if it is hardware related if it is repairable. I’ve added a picture showing what I mean below.
Make sure to update your machine and luban to the latest versions. There was a change not too long ago to how the laser power worked and updating Luban, but not the machine firmware caused this.

Also make sure that “Constant power” is not ticked.
Constant power is fine, especially when cutting. That just swaps between M3 and M4 for laser control.
M3 Is purely on at the set power level.
M4 Turns the laser on at full power, at full speed, but as speed decreases, so does the power to help prevent extra burning in slow corners and small details.
