Ok… after replacing the controller board from the previous issue, I finally have a working laser, but still not having great luck getting it to do what I want, and understand why the laser activates sometimes, and others not. For instance, as a test I wanted it to cut 4 holes in a square. Instead of just cutting the holes, the laser continues to cut while traveling. Hopefully the image will help illustrate this. The laser stops and starts and works perfectly when it is doing the camera calibration.
Then, separately I have tried to cut a coaster out of the basswood, as well as trying the turtle puzzle that came with in the case library, and the program runs, but the laser does not even turn on. I have also tried to engrave something onto the aluminum that came with it, and the laser does not do anything. I dont understand what I am missing.
Both luban and the firmware on my Snapmaker 2 are up to date.
