What Snapmaker is working on these days?

On the 2024 roadmap there was an announcement for flagship release for 2024 q4. Maybe they learned and shifted not ready devices.
Anything at Snapmaker? No news for a while!
Especially because they are not releasing any new feature or firmware for their devices at the moment. Except Orca maybe…
what was the flagship related to, to a new version of the artisan series? I havent found a release announcment from 2024 q4.
As i feared. A core xy. Snapmaker is too late to the party. They should rather get their old concepts out of the drawer again and put “modularity” in the foreground. For me, the J1 and also the Ray in the form it came in (own controller etc) was a mistake.
Why is there no module for sharpies or similar? A module for plotting? Printhead for 2,85mm Filament for the huge build volume? All they would have to do is take up the 5 year old ideas and make Snapmaker for “makers” again. xTool has been much more innovative here recently.
And honestly, if I just want a printer, then it should just work in 2025. And that’s something snapmaker can’t deliver.
I had just cross posted this from the J1 Facebook group also.
Note it isn’t just corexy, but also a 4 head tool changer. This is very relevant and the new frontier in 2025, IMHO.
Very excited to see Snapmaker taking a step into this ring.
