Version 2.0 of the Self-Impelled Vacuum Dust Shoe for 200W CNC

The Version 2.0 of the 200W CNC Dust Shoe for the Snapmaker is up on Cults. I also uploaded a video https://youtu.be/7Jm-IsRiAyA so you can see how the mount has changed and how it works. Improvements:

• Compatible with the quick swap kit.
• Can use with wide surfacing bits, etc.
• Pipe outlet is now secure
• Pump housing is now more secure.
• Worked to reduce sound level.

Here are the installation instructions:

1. These are the printed parts.
   

   

2. Glue the halves of the pump housing together.
   

   

3. Place the mount plate on the CNC head.
   

   

4. Mount the CNC head to the Snapmaker.
   

   

5. Insert the Impeller onto the spindle.
   

   

Ensure the slots are aligned properly! The open slots will align with the slots on the spindle or the spindle will not seat into the impeller!

6. Install ER11 nut and bit, tighten as usual, using the slot in the impeller to place the wrench.
   
   

7a. Slide the pump housing onto the mount.

7b. Twist the pump housing to secure it.

7c. The pump housing will stop when aligned.

8. Insert pipe to secure pump housing.
   

   

9. Tighten strap.
   

   

10. Mount your preferred brush attachment.
