Unable to use Snapmaker 2 3D printer module after updating the firmware and Luban

Hi , I have had an issue after my last firmware update/luban update.

Indeed Luban is not detecting the 3d printer module and thinks I have the laser installed ( It will not let me click on 3d printing and will crash)

I have tried the following :

-Reinstall LUBAN.
-Change tool heads and put the 3d print module back.
-Re checking updates/ firmware (everything up to date)

Controlling everything from the machine works flawlessly and homing and running border from Luban works via the workspace however when i try to open a file it is looking for laser files and not .stl’s , I am really scratching my head here trying to figure what went wrong.

Any ideas and suggestions are welcome.

PS : I have updated in the past without issues and have been a happy SM2 user so far.

I haven’t heard of that problem before and I don’t have a clue - I assume Luban is connecting to the machine.

Sounds like you will need to contact support via support@snapmaker.com

Its been a while since the official support team patrolled this forum, I think its just us users now.

Not sure if this will help but I would delete any laser files on the tablet that are in memory then retry. It’s possible that the software may be getting confused by that.

Just a thought.

What does the start screen of the touchscreen say?

Normally it says which module is connected.
