I presume “External” means a usb-connected external reader device. Unfortunately, this is the default when it would make more sense to have “Snapmaker” as the default.

I don’t understand this. Reading the documentation, it looks like it should have been defaulted to Snapmaker.

I’m pretty sure when set to OPENRFID it still reads Snapmaker tags too.

I’ve just checked, and it does. Excellent.
