Time Estimates significantly off?

I am using Snapmaker’s Orca and the estimated print time is significantly off (it always takes longer than the estimate). I use Snapmaker’s Orca to try and pick which prints would benefit from multihead printing vs my 9 Bambu’s and when the estimate are off by so much is makes it hard to decide. Yesterday, I printed a plate of Stormtrooper Heads for minifigs. Estimate was 27 hours. Took 32+ actual hours. No error or stoppages to account for that difference. Is there a way to get a better estimate?

Time estimates haven’t mattered to me yet but eventually will. Curious if this is an overall issue :sign_of_the_horns::sign_of_the_horns:

My friend and I both got U1s at the same time. We both run businesses so we check this sort of thing. The times are very constantly off…in a too good to be true direction.

I have the same problem with Luban and Cura. If it was consistently off, I’d be fine just mentally adding +10% to the estimate. But it’s not consistent. Some times it’s only +5%, sometimes it’s +20%. The only consistency I’ve seen is that it never prints faster than the estimate.

For what it’s worth, I get the same results in Snapmaker Orca and OrcaSlicer for my worst offending files. Snorca is actually closer, but not by a significant amount
