I’m so glad I did not cancel my pre-order for the top cover, the new design looks great and well worth the price! I like the fans and the magnetic door panel. Good job Snapmaker, can’t wait to get it!

If the release video is that clean, and going by how early I received my U1, I wouldn’t be surprised by an earlier ship date

Yes I know, I got the emails too… I’m not saying you are wrong, I’m saying there is a chance they ship early. Regardless… I don’t care, I’ll happily wait till November.

“if you place an order now, the cover is estimated for November" is not “no covers will be shipped before November".
If you order an U1 now, it will be shipped in march. BUT: i already have an U1. So, the backers will be fullfilled before November.

I guess that some people (like me) are heavy on Copium and expecting to be surprised with a
we promised this but actually over-delivered
let us dream a little haha. 
I still love to find out a way to not have all the particles thrown into my living space tho, I guess I’ll figure out the Ikea trick in the meantime and some Noctua fans piping the whole thing out of the enclosure!

The enclosure for the Snapmaker 2 was excellent. I would have hope here.

I don’t see any filter. Don’t understand why there is no filter for the external circulation fan so it’s not just blowing out all the bad particles and fumes out in the room. There seems to be some filter in the internal circulation fan.
Also no heater in the top cover and not sure why not as the bed heater is not enough for printing high temp filament according to what I have seen in posts where people have Ikea or the 3D printed top.
