I have searched Snapmaker support but cannot find a terminal command to switch on or off the Snapmaker Enclosure LED lights. I remotely monitor 3D printing and often need to switch on the lights, but cannot see a code to do this - there must be one…?
Hi,
you can use M1010 S3 P0, see description below
M1010 Sx Px
* S0: disable door event
* S1: enable door event
* S3: set light power, P 0-100%, eg.M1010 S3 P100 -> light 100%
* S4: set fan power, P 0-100%, eg.M1010 S4 P100 -> fan 100%
There is a GCode reference sheet, but I’m not sure how up to date it is.
Official documentation is available on Github:

Thanks all. Works well now. I just wish there was a way to switch just the enclosure lights on, so it was easy to change the tool head. - Snapmaker make it clear to power off the unit whilst changing heads (plugging and unplugging cables messes up the controller).
Personally I have the system setup to turn the lights on when booted, so I’ll turn mine off, reach in and unplug the cable, then turn the unit on so the lights are on. Swap the toolhead/platform, then turn it off again to plug the new head in.
That sounds very useful. How do you do it?
On the main screen, swipe over for the applications > Enclosure > settings at the bottom > toggle Auto lighting.
Ah, yes I was aware of that. Think it’s the default - however it takes time for the machine to boot up and the lights to be ready. I thought your suggestion would mean they were on instantly - sadly not. I might look at rewiring them, or installing additional lights in the enclosure which I can I independently control.
Install party lights, if you’re doing extra anyway might as well go that extra mile.
