Hi ,
I want to add some lighting primarily for the dual printer set up and possibly Cnc module too.
I haven’t put much thought into how and what yet .
Has anyone added extra lighting to their Artisan ?
Thanks .
Not at the artisan but on the SM 2.0. I placed IP65 WS2812 led strips on the top of the enclosure and at the X axis. The steering is from octopi on RPi.
I added lighting to my originals enclosure on each side using LED cob lights, (12v), powered and switched externally. Just cheap one like this -

I used this all around the inside of the enclosure.
Thanks BB.,
From one beekeeper to another I assume.
I’d like some extra light to see the first few layers while on 3d printing mode , I use a flashlight to help but it’s not ideal .
It might take adding a small spotlight tomthe dual printer head.
It would have been good if SM had included in the design.
Anyway how many hives do you have ?, and where are you ?.
Thanks TK .,
My son just offered me some lights very similar to yours , he had them for a project that never happened, like father like son I guess .
Thanks for sharing your info for me .
