Standard

When creating a new project and/or importing an object, the “Standard” setting appears in some places regarding the filament or toolhead.

What exactly is this, what does it mean, and can it be assigned to a toolhead somewhere? Or is this done only on the printer in the start menu?

Generally, you can submit a support ticket to consult after-sales service, and they will give you direct feedback.

It is recommended that you explain your own use case, for example: why you need to use this command.

Simon:

This isn’t about a bug but a question about how it works, and I certainly won’t file a ticket as long as I’m going in circles with support regarding the MCU issues!

A group of software engineers just joined this week. I think the product manager’s focus will shift back to the slicing software. If you have any complaints or experience issues with the slicing software, you can post them here directly or submit a support ticket requesting optimization, and I will help relay your concerns.

My understanding of the scenario you described is: when you import an existing 3MF file, for example one downloaded from Makerworld, into the Snapmaker Orca software for slicing, are you confused about how to configure your colors and print head? If you could describe your specific confusion in detail, for example with screenshots or videos as references, it would help me better understand your scenario, and then I can convey it to the software team and urge them to optimize this workflow.

You’re misunderstanding!

So let’s start over:

Which coil is the “standard” one, and why is it that one? Can this be set or defined somewhere?
