We have some exciting updates regarding the ongoing Snapmaker Video Contest (Snapmaking Contest - Winter Wonderland Video - Snapmaker)! Your feedback and concerns have been invaluable to us, and we’ve made some important changes to try to hold a more fair and creative competition for everyone.
We understand that paid promotion can unfairly impact the number of views a video receives. To ensure fairness, we have updated the rules to emphasize that paid promotion is not allowed. We want to encourage organic growth and creativity.
In response to the feedback about the timing of submissions, we have extended the deadline for video submissions. The new deadline is now January 15th, giving everyone an additional week to craft and share their amazing videos. For video, It is suggested that the video length for the contest is longer than 60 seconds. We understand that creating compelling content takes time, and we want to ensure that all participants have a fair opportunity to showcase their creativity.
Furthermore, we are thrilled to announce an update to the prizes! The winner of Snapmaker’s Pick will have the opportunity to choose any Snapmaker machine (one unit) as their prize. We believe that this change will further motivate and reward creativity, making the contest even more exciting for all participants.

The participants with the highest and second highest views will be rewarded with the First Prize and the Second Prize respectively. In addition, Snapmaker will pick another award based on video creativity and richness, and this winner will receive the same reward as the First Prize.
Any attempt to cheat in the contest will not be accepted. For example, buying views and subscribers, malicious comments on other people’s videos, etc. Once found, we will disqualify the user from joining the contest.
To ensure fairness, if we suspect that a submitted video has been promoted through paid means, we will request the participant to provide backend data - this information will only be used by Snapmaker for award evaluation. If the paid promotion occurred before our rule update, we will use organic views for evaluation. If the paid promotion occurs after our rule update, we may disqualify entry.
We encourage everyone to share their amazing stories, creativity, and innovation with the Snapmaker community. We can’t wait to see all the incredible videos that you’ll create.
We are thrilled to announce the results of our first video contest! We received about 20 amazing entries, and we want to give a big shoutout to all the creative minds who participated. Your hard work and dedication truly impressed us.

We also want to take a moment to acknowledge all the participants. Every single entry was filled with fantastic content and unique ideas that inspired us to explore new projects. One video that stood out to us was Ronin’s. Although it didn’t win, we were impressed by the easy-to-follow guide for CNC cutting acrylic sheets: Ronin - Laser CNC cutting of acrylic sheets - simple Christmas decoration - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cR4YkRqVIfU.
As we reflect on this contest, we recognize that there is a lot of room for improvement. We value your feedback and suggestions on how we can make future contests even better. For instance, we are considering separating long videos and short videos into different categories, inviting star users to join the judging panel, and more. Your input is crucial to us, so please feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.
