Hi Snapmaker community :waving_hand:

I just shared a small, simple mod for the Snapmaker U1 + SnapDryer setup: a PTFE tube washer set that keeps everything clean and reliable while preserving the original “vanilla” U1 design (no bulky bracket vibe). To put it in place just use the friction of your finger to maintain the inner washer while you screw the coupler.

What it does

  • Complete set of 8 washers (including 4 threaded ones)

  • Lets you keep the original U1 filament feeder housing

  • Adds support for an M6 PTFE tube coupler so you can route filament from a Snapmaker / Polymaker dryer(and likely other dryers too)
