Snapmaker Orca & App V2.3.6_beta: Beta Testing Now Open

Hey everyone!
The latest Snapmaker Orca/App V2.3.6 beta is live and ready for your feedback. This update is packed with some awesome upgrades, including:
What’s New:

  • Added Time-lapse video export feature(requires firmware V1.6.0 or later)
  • Added Print Preferences, which enable Spaghetti Detection and Foreign Object - Detection. These features help you identify anomalies during printing and take timely action.
  • Added a one-click auto-zoom and camera pan feature that instantly reframes the view to display all models in the scene or focus on the selected model(s)
  • Added Color Mixing Match Mapping, which automatically generates an optimal color matching solution within the reliable color gamut for multi-color models (especially those with more than 4 colors).
  • Added support for Snapmaker PLA Full Spectrum, compatible with 0.2 mm and 0.6 mm nozzles.

I assume those changes don’t apply to SM2.0? I was disappointed to hear from another member via reply that SM2.0 is being deprecated.

@Zoe_M are we ever going to get the camera stream without custom firmware?

Linux version still not working with Nvidia 580 series driver.
True for both Flatpak and AppImage version.

Hi, thanks for bringing it up. This feature request for native streaming without custom firmware has been logged and shared with our engineering team. However, there is no final evaluation outcome available yet, so I cannot provide you with a definitive reply at this time. Sorry for the inconvenience.
