Snapmaker Space is ready for a bigger Closed Beta! (Model Platform)

Hey everyone! We’ve been building a new model platform for the Snapmaker U1, and we’re now ready to open the Closed Beta to a larger group of U1 owners.

What is Snapmaker Space?

It’s a place to discover, share, and print models for the U1.

There are already 1,000+ multi-color and multi-material models, with Snapmaker U1 profiles and one-click printing ready to go.

Pick a model → send it to your U1 → print.

We’re also testing a points system that rewards both users and creators. The current rules are available on the platform, and we’ll continue refining them based on what we learn during the Closed Beta.

How to join the Closed Beta?

We’ll start sending whitelist access and beta testing instructions within this week to the first ~1,000 users.

Access will roll out in batches as we expand the beta, so applying doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll get access right away.

Hi, are you asking whether there will be a model platform for the Original and Snapmaker 2.0?

If so, I’m afraid there’s no plan for that at the moment.

Ive followed the document for those doing the beta and got the app on my phone fine. I can access the site fine. But for the life of me I cannot download the correct version of Snapmaker Orca listed there. The link in the document takes me to the workflow for the builds but even digging around I cannot find the beta version referenced. Can someone find me the direct link to that beta download and private message it somehow or email it to me? Excited to help but not having access on my computer will limit how much I’m able to do/test.

@Zoe_M: Have uploaded and used Snapmaker Space extensively since last week.

Here are my findings:

User registration amnd points: although I’ve successfully performed all actions (uploaded avatar, changed bio and info etc), no points were awarded as it seems the system did not “understand” my completed actions. The same applies with uploading models.

Model upload and pending status: uploaded models on 3th September 2026, they are STILL in pending status. I have more models to upload but I am hesitant now that the ones that I’ve uploaded are not accepted yet.

Loading models and printing them via the Snapmaker Orca and the Snapmaker Android app works with no issues.

Will continue testing and report.

Hi, I’ve checked with the model platform support team. Here are some key details for your reference:

1. User registration & points system

There is a limitation in the current logic: the system only recognizes a valid profile edit and grants points when users update avatar, bio, and name all at the same time. Points will not be awarded if only one or two of these fields are modified.

This points‑triggering logic will be optimized in a future update. After the improvement, editing any single field alone will trigger the corresponding points reward.

Temporary workaround: Try updating your avatar, bio and name to different placeholder values all at once. Once saved, you can edit them again and revert back to your preferred avatar, bio and name. This should trigger the points.

2. Model moderation & upload‑related points

We are currently running a large‑scale beta test for the model platform, and currently, the moderation resources are under pressure. The model platform support team is working to speed up review throughput.

Points for uploaded models and print configurations will only be issued after your submission passes moderation.
