I encountered some strange error patterns in an object.
The setting was “Multimaterial > Maximum width of a segmented area” = 2mm.
Strange internal structures were generated:
Initial setup for reproduction:
Set base profiles to U1, print profiles to e.g. 0.2mm, and use 2 different generic color profiles.
Add any cylinder, e.g., 50x50.
Create 2 color blocks using the color function.
Slice.
The malfunction during the generation of internal structures is clearly visible:
In my additionally installed original Orca version 2.3.2, this error cannot be reproduced.
Therefore, from my perspective, this is a bug in Snapmaker ORCA 2.3.3.
Shouldn’t this be in the Snapmaker Orca forum category rather than the U1 category?

Hey, can I also have a picture of the sliced model on the Orca Slicer 2.3.2?
It would be great if you can export the logs from Snapmaker Orca 2.3.3 and submit a support ticket so the engineer could look further:https://snapmaker.formcrafts.com/u1-troubleshooting-request
Best regards.
I’ve ran into multi-material support printing issue in SnOrca 2.3.3
I’ve printed this model 7 times without issue. Now, PETG support keeps on failing to stay inside of the PLA prime tower. I’ve tried auto flow rate and bed level and gotten the same result. I can’t figure out what changed? Same file, same filaments.

I also don’t get why PETG support only has one tiny spot on the 1st layer of prime tower

Here are images from the same project, slicing with ORCA 2.3.2

Thank you very much. I’ll also leave a message for the senior engineer as an extra notification.
Feedback: With the new Snapmaker Orca version 2.3.4, the error is no longer reproducible. Thanks for the quick fix
