I am running into the error: ‘This nozzle filament type does not match the preset filament type of the model. Please replace this nozzle filament type or change the preset filament type’.
The filament options are greyed out and I’m unable to select anything. The filaments currently loaded in the printer are correctly set in Orca, but I keep getting this error before printing.
When the print popup appears and I try to manually re-select the filament from the dropdown, it doesn’t allow me to make any changes.
Strange. I constantly tell the U1 a little white lie (Snorca: PETG generic Geetech - U1: Snapmaker PETG, since it’s faster during spool changes), and it has never complained. However, I only upload the GGode file and then start it on the U1, where I also perform the final toolhead assignment.
Just ran into this issue after updating snorca and the firmware to 1.3.0 . I tried unloading and releoading the filament, switching the presets in snorca along with changing the filament type on the U1 and nothing worked. I still get the greyed out choices. The system will not let me print by using the upload & print button. However i did find a workaround. When selecting print from the slicer, click on “upload” instead of “upload and print”. This will send the print to the U1, then start the print from the device tab. Walla! all the filament types are correct and I can now print again.
I had a similar effect when I performed the firmware update but didn’t physically restart the printer afterward (power off/on) - could that also be the reason for you?
