Hello, I just received my new SnapMaker A350 and got it setup. Has anyone used SolidWorks and SolidWorks CAM for generating the design and G-Code files for the SnapMaker 2.0 machines?
As far as I know, SnapMaker has not released a post-processor for solidworks. However, there was one found a bit ago that post-processes into Marlin for solidworks. I haven’t had the chance to test it, but I’ll attach it if you’re interested in being a guinea pig.Solidworks+CAM+Marlin+Post+Processor.zip (84.8 KB)
Yes, I believe I remember seeing someone do that in the past on here.
This person used MeshCAM: Alternative to Fusion for CNC and CAM
Closest I’ve done is taken an STL export from Solidworks and printed from Luban. I don’t have access to the Solidworks CAM stuff for CNC.
Does anybody know when or how I can CNC solidworks, step, or some other files on a snapmaker 1?
