Snapmaker 2.0 cnc module cuts 1mm too big

Fellow makers,

At te moment i run into a problem with my cnc module on my snapmaker 2.0.
hopefully you can help me figure this out.

+/- 2 years ago i bough this machine and rearly used it.
The machine is second hand and had some play in the y axis.
the carriages where loose and i fixed this.

Now i have acces to fusion 360 and started playing again with the cnc module.
I downloaded the snapmaker tool libary to fusion 360 and created a program.

It went well, the only problem are the measurement.
I did multiple tests (different tools and speeds) and all of them are off.
Outside measurement are +1mm and inside are -1mm.

You would think the problem is in the tool size but what i can see those are correct.
For what i know i did not use any stock to leave setting.

supposed to be 210mm

anyone a good sugestion?

my tool settings

I really wouldn’t use a tape measure to measure to the accuracy of +/- 1mm !

I made multiple tests 50x50mm, where i used caliper.
The tape measure is for the quick check, but it shows the issue.

My guess is something about backslash of the rails and loose sliders.
The 2.0 linear modules are not made for accurate cnc carving, the mechanic especially the mounted toolhead pretends to dodge.
The bracing kit helps a bit but 1mm seems to be too much inaccuracy…

Whats your stepdown, work speed?

Is it different with less step down?
