Snapmaker 2.0 1.6W Laser Specifications

I’m trying to do some laser safety calculations but I’ve been unable to find certain key characteristics of the laser module. Does anyone have the following characteristics for the laser:

  • Waist diameter (mm)
  • Diameter of beam at output (mm)
  • Beam divergence (radians)
  • Whether the laser is Continuous Wave (CW) or pulsed

If the laser is pulsed:

  • Pulse Repetition Frequency (Hz)
  • Repetition period (seconds)

Hope this parameters can be helpful.

Thanks for the rapid reply Edwin! I’m not sure if I’m interpreting the spec sheet correctly - if I assume that the spec sheet says aperture diameter is 0.5mm and the focus distance is 15mm I get a divergence of 33.3 mrad, which seems too high for a laser of this power (and it doesn’t seem correct that it would focus to 0 mm). If they’ve actually given the beam waist at the focus point, I’m missing at least one variable to make the calculation (the aperture diameter). Are you able to provide a model number for the laser diode so that I can google further information?
