Looking for any advice on using silk filament in my SM2.0 before buying any. Any problems? Any special tweaking that’s significantly different than PLA? Thanks.
You’ll find that you need to make slight tweaks to settings when you switch brands or types of the same kind of material (sometimes even when you’re using a fresh reel of the same!) but if its PLA then it probably won’t be far from the default settings, maybe 5-10° either way, maybe a slight change to the Z offset. I use Geetech Silk and I find it prints better at 210 or 215° but its fantastic.
