Sadly, retiring my 2.0 A250

Why? Upgrading to a Bambu X1C with AMS. I’m interested to see what the difference in print quality will be. After much (MUCH) tuning, my A250 has been turning out gorgeous PLA and PETG prints. Well, until a recent update lost all my settings. I have a boaty print from the A250 that is virtually perfect. I’ll compare with the Bambu and post. I’m now only printing PETG, but going to try ASA with the Bambu. As I posted before, one attraction of the Snapmaker was the multiple heads, laser, CNC. But I’ve found that neither the laser nor CNC heads are really all that useful for me. If I want laser, I use a 30W CO2 unit. If I want CNC, I use my real CNC milling machine. OTOH, I don’t use laser or CNC for thin materials or artwork, and I have space for those multiple tools.

Cool. Seeya.

@wje Ok, and? What’s the point you are trying to make?

Bascially that I really liked it as a 3D printer, but that’s pretty much all I used it for. Still, a great product.
