I am trying to laser engrave some basic nametags on wood veneer, and finishing using the cut function to get a nice clean edge on the nametags. I’ve been using the native luban shape creation to make the rectangle that forms the border of the nametags, and every time I’ve gone to cut the piece, I have been getting a small dot burned in the dead center of the nametag. I’ve tried turning off the constant laser mode, changed the work origin to the corners and tried a few different iterations of the shape and the dot is always there. I can see the dot in the G-code file before it gets exported, but haven’t been able to figure out how to get rid of it. Any ideas on how to remove this? Thanks!
Is this your “set work origin” dot?
Maybe try lowering the power of this dot in the settings (for this material).
If I’m right there is a settings range from 1-3%.
