Quick Swap Wall Mount kit

Now that I have received my Quick Swap kit I figured I have a standard set of plates mounted on my toolheads. I wanted a wall mount bracket for these and could not find one. So I made one. Hopefully someone else will find this useful.

I only designed brackets for the toolheads, not the build platforms, but those could be useful as well.

Enjoy, please provide feedback. This is my first design from scratch and I am still learning.

Here is the design:

Awesome!
You should make a version for honeycomb wall

If I understood the hex wall mounting system better I would give it a shot. Hopefully someone who knows it better will remix it for the hex wall.

It would be hard to remix the stl, since it’s a mesh with no dimensions
I’ll come up with something for my kit, you got the idea in my head!

I made some attachments before for snapmaker tools - Printables

Nice! I love the hex wall idea, I’m just waiting to build a proper workshop before I put it up. I though about developing a model for a hex wall, but I would want two points of connection I think and I’m not confident of my ability to do that correctly.

I thought 3D Builder could convert the STL file to an OBJ or 3mf file. Would one of those work? I can convert and upload.

I guess one can equip the Blender and shape an STL. But it is pretty hard to make a mesh object to something resembling a clean step file.

What I did is I downloaded the step files provided by wall author and just attached my design to one of the pegs in fusion360. Figured out that center of gravity has to be lower, quick change, and second print was ideal

Nicely done! Thank you. Have downloaded for when I get my honeycomb wall going.
