Quick Swap kit, reduction of the workspace

Since the “Quick Swap” is installed the workspace is limited by around 15mm (Y-direction).
In many cases it is no problem. But in one of my prints I need the FULL workspace.
I checked all the possibilities, I can do, to eliminate this reduction of the work space and I recognize that this is mechanical just a small problem. I need to move the tool plate on the linear motor of the Y-direction just around 15mm I am sure this is NO PROBLEM (8 new wholes and 8 new threads, maybe some spacers and all is OK).

BUT I HAVE NOW A PROBLEM WITH THE ADJUSTMENTS OF THE SNAPMAKER: I need to re-adjust the workspace to the new workspace (the “original” does not work too, because then the Z-position is different). Is there any possibility to adjust the workspace in the SNAPMAKER and in LUBAN?

Thank you in advance for helping me with my samll problem!

Additional hint: I use the SNAPMAKER A250 without the enclusure.

You cannot in luban out of the box. With cura and other external programs you can define the workspace in mm by your own. Luban uses the predefined profiles.
But you can also add a spacer for z between baseplate and z motors/their mounting brackets. then you can tell luban: no quickswap and you are ready to Go.

Or just change to: no quickswap and just Take care not to print to height objects since luban will not longer warn you.

But in general it is not recommended to run your machine in such kind of Intermediate state. There can be problems with the calibration and so on.

Wouldn’t it be easier to remove the Quick Swap kit just for this “one” print?

Thank you for the idea with the Z-position. You are right
