I think you can add 6 months to all the estimates :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I mainly use it for 3D printing, but I recently purchased a 10W laser and will be utilizing the laser as well. sold the CNC.
I am looking forward to the quick swap, but I am concerned about the sales format. Can I purchase only the modules I need individually?
I do not need the attachment for the CNC. The laser is needed for both 1.6w and 10w. Some people will also need attachments for DE. I would like to be able to order everything individually.

Other traffic on this topic mentioned that it will be only for the toolhead modules, and will not be for the beds.

If that is true, that is very disappointing. If it is just the head, then the benefit of purchasing it is less than half.
I don’t think beds for lasers require that much precision, so I might try to go in the direction of putting it on a 3DP bed.

I made a bed for a laser.

A 5mm MDF board was cut to bed size and double-sided tape was applied.

A cutting platform was attached on top of it. Bolts are attached to block the holes.

The heat bed is not removed. I placed the board I created on top of it and secured it with clips.

I don’t use CNC, so this is enough about beds.I hope a quick swap for the head will be available soon.

I would guess it’ll be another ‘buy in September, see at Christmas/next year’ thing.

There’s lots of examples out there. They work well; just takes a clip or clamps to hold them in place since there isn’t much toque applied to them. Even CNC I havne’t had issues just clamping them (c clamps) to the heated bed.

I am surprised that CNC is not a problem.

Just eliminating the hassle of changing beds has made it much more convenient. I frequently switch between 3DP and laser to work with it. I hope you will sell attachments for the head soon.
