U1 Top-Cover Mod - U1 Toolchanger - Snapmaker: where creation happens
I designed a more aesthetically pleasing top cover for the U1. You can customize the color scheme, personalize your own nameplate, and it features a magnetic flip-open lid.
It mainly uses one type of self-tapping screw for easy installation, though the print time is quite long—it took me a whole week!!

U1 Full-Spectrum Fork Gradient Generator Tool - U1 Tool Changer - Snapmaker: Where Creation Happens
Inspired by a post I saw on the Snapmaker subreddit the other day, I created a web app you can use to create custom color gradients for use with the Full-Spectrum Snapmaker Orca fork.
It lets you make smooth gradients using any kind of filament, to get results similar to ones you could get with rainbow filament (but with more control, as you can specify the exact start and end colors and speed). You can interpolate between as many colors as you like, and also use color mixes containing multiple filaments as nodes on the gradient.
If anyone would like to test it and give any feedback on how it works with real-life prints, that would be great, as I don’t have a U1 (only a single-color printer).

Note for experienced users: If you already understand the difference between importing geometry vs. opening a Bambu Lab project file directly (and the potential G-code issues), this tool is primarily a convenience for you. The main benefit is that it loads the model with the original color mapping intact, rather than defaulting to whatever filaments you currently have active in Snapmaker Orca.
Converts Bambu Lab/Bambu Studio .3mf files to Snapmaker U1 compatible format
Applies the 0.20mm Standard print profile
Remaps colors and filament types to U1 compatible profiles
Automatically enables Tree Supports (auto) if the original model has supports enabled
Supports up to 4 filaments/colors
Upload your Bambu Lab .3mf file
Adjust filament colors and types if needed
Click “Convert and Download”
Open the converted file in Snapmaker Orca for final slicing
