Printer loses bed leveling

I have owned the Snapmaker 2.0 Modular F250 for several years and am very satisfied with it. However, for the past few weeks, I have been experiencing a problem that I cannot resolve. Every time I restart the device, the bed leveling data is lost and I have to perform a complete cycle. The firmware is up to date, and I have not changed anything else. Sometimes I get an error message saying that the device has lost contact with the touchscreen. But not always. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on?

The machine has not detected any calibration data that could affect printing.

Would you like to continue printing or calibrate the heated bed first?

Note: The machine will start printing as soon as calibration is complete.

You have checked all the cable connections?

Checking the connections as suggested from @Boxkite, is a good idea to start with.
If you do a normal calibration on the touchscreen in the settings-menu, is it saved properly?

What’s your toolhead?
You did not change the toolhead between, right?

First of all, thank you for your ideas. I checked all the connections. Everything fits perfectly. I calibrated the printbed via the touchpad – Settings – Calibration and saved everything. I then printed without any problems. Then I turned the device off and on again – and once again, the calibration had not been saved and had to be carried out again. I had already tried not to recalibrate, but then the printing didn’t work.
I still have the printhead as it was delivered; I have never replaced the printhead or the extruder. It’s all as it came right out of the box. That’s why I’m so irritated. I thought of a software problem but the firmware is the latest one.

Small addition: I tried to increase the number of level points in the settings (instead of 9, I think it was now 25). But the same phenomenon occurred: as soon as the device was disconnected from the power supply, the settings were lost.

Memory space?
Stranger things have happened…

I reset the touchpad and controller as described here: https://wiki.snapmaker.com/en/Snapmaker_2/troubleshooting/reset
I also deleted all local files in Developer Mode. None of this helped. I think I’ll give Snapmaker Support a try. :face_with_peeking_eye: Thank you for your support!

Did your gcodes disappear by deleting the local files and resetting the touchscreen?- Not sure about this Android device..
If not, you need to delete the print files yourself.

Hey, thanks again for your support. With the help of the Snapmaker support I (hopefully) found the solution to my problem: In the settings I marked the linear moduels as installed with the bracing kit. But that’s the wrong setting. I set it to “installed without bracing kit” and now the printer seems to remember the correct calibration. I’ll check that now over the next days but I guess, my case is solved!
