You’re the first person who has suggested that the recommended calibration procedure by SM is too high. Everyone else’s experience has been that it is too low.

Yeah the autoleveling process is not as good as i tought but i allways use the calibration card from snapmaker
Yeah i dont know why its so bad after the firmeware update but i think it the filament too bc the SM Filament is not the best as i heard
I always have to go up, never more down
I dont think so use isopropanol that is enough.

Ok but why should this be so bad you normaly use it befor painting something
No idea how it would react with the SM coating.
I know SM doesn’t like acetone.
Wash it in the sink with soap and water, then dry and wipe down with rubbing/isopropyl alcohol should be enough.

This is an understatement. If the Octoprint Bed visualizer plugin is to be believed, and I think it is spot-on, I have a .5mm hole in the top right quadrant of my bed. Leveling a SnapMaker bed is a voodoo science.
