Why is it, I download a file to Snorca that has multiple plates… Snorca will give me one plate with all the pieces scattered everywhere? Its frustratingly annoying…!
@Cylonmode Please provide a link to the file, if possible. Would like to verify.
Pretty much any file I download with multiple plates does it.

@Cylonmode If you open this as project, it ímports correctly. Stil, with remarks concerning the wrong printer, but this will disappear as soon as you switch to U1.
Oh ok!! So prints with multiple plates is considered a project? Great! Thanks! I hope this helps someone else as well in the future… Cheers! ![]()
Yes, .stl files are just files of models. They do not include color, slicer settings, filament choices, etc.
On the other hand, .3mf files are files of print profiles which include slicer settings and layout/orientation of models onto one or multiple plates. They also include painting of multiple colors and other things. However, they are slicer-specific and not all settings will necessarily be available or transfer over if you use a different slicer (Bambu Studio .3mfs on Snorca, for example)
This is valuable knowledge!! I’ve learned something new!
